What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is an ancient Indian natural and holistic medical system. When translated Ayurveda from Sanskrit, it means "science of life" (in Sanskrit the root word Ayur means "longevity" or age and Veda means "science".
Allopathy medicine (asymmetric medicine) focuses on the management of the disease, while Ayurveda provides knowledge of prevention of the disease and how to get its root cause removed if the disease arises.
Knowledge of Ayurveda first proceeded verbally from the descendants of the sages of India, and after that it was collected and written five thousand years ago. The oldest texts on Ayurveda are Charak Samhita, Sushruta Samhita and Ashtanga Hridaya. This book tells about the five elements found in space - earth, water, air, fire and sky, which affect our personal system. They understand the importance of keeping these five elements balanced for a healthy and joyful life.
According to Ayurveda, every person is affected more by some elements than others. This is due to their nature or natural structure. Ayurveda ensures different body structures in three different doshas.
1) Vata Dosha: In which air and sky elements prevail.
2) Pitta dosha: In which fire dosha prevails.
3) Kapha Dosha: In which earth and water elements prevail.
Blame does not just affect the nature of one's body, but it also affects the physical trends (such as the choice and digestion of food) and the nature of one's mind and feelings. For example, people who have earth element and phlegm defect have strong and strong body. They have a tendency to digest slowly, have deep memory and emotional stability. In most people, nature is made up of a mixture of two doshas. For example, people who have pitta kapha nature, both tendencies of pitta dosha and kapha dosha, but pitta dosha prevails. Having an understanding of the properties of our natural structure, we can do all the best to keep our balance.
Ayurveda attaches special importance to one's diet or lifestyle (food habits and daily lifestyle). Ayurveda also gives guidance on how to make the lifestyle favorable based on changes in the weather.
